This is a wooden music and/or book stand found at an estate. I don't know its history... I don't know what kind of wood it is made of. It has quite a bit of markings and grooves in the wood...

It has a few issues... The holder (where book is placed) itself has a seam through the center. I don't know if it was made in two pieces and glued together or if it broke in half and was repaired. There is a chip wood of missing along the seam on one end.

Can be seen in photos. A piece at the top of the spindle, where the stand is attached, was broken and glued back together (not very well). There is a candle holder (possibly brass) on either side of the holder. These swivel to show or be hidden.

They have been bent, I did not try to straighten. You can see in the photo that one is lower than the other. The holder is about 16" wide at widest, 12" tall and 8 deep Weighs approx. 10 pounds There is a sticker on the bottom of the base, shown in the last photo. I don't know what it may represent. I'm sorry but I can not do local pick-ups.
