Vintage-NAUTICAL-MARINE-SHIP-BRASS- Compass -with Candle holder-original

BRASS shell has been cleaned and Painted with goldish spray paint----its brass under the paint on the top and base-- I have sanded some down to expose the real material---Brass. All is good with the shell-- Candle compartment has some wear with door closing exactly ---- but it does--- remember the age of this item--- missing candle holder base--compartment is all brass also. COMPASS---- has been gone over---Prior to me acquiring it-- looks to be cleaned and sealed---doesn't leak fluid-- but you can see --someone cleaned it. All brass supports for balance are intact-- none broke- compass swivels and rotates nicely in Fluid. Glass is intact and looks to be original-- seal in front?
