Vintage Art Deco HAGENAUER AUSTRIA Brass Candleholder

Original Art Deco HAGENAUER Brass Candleholder. Elegant and playful design depicts a gentle doe innocently gazing on in a sweet submissive pose. Brass candle holder is a great example of the whimsical designs made by Hagenauer at the family Werkstatten Haagenauer workshop in Austria in the 3's and 40's. The Hagenauer markings "wHw" and Made in Austria are clearly seen in the last photo. Candle holder is in fine condition with fine scratches and patina on the brass consistent with age and use.
