SWEET Pair 17th 18th Century Brass Candle Stick Holder Triangular Footed Spanish

This SWEET pair of late 1600's-early 1700's candlesticks is most likely from Spain or Portugal and are cast and engine turned in 5 sections. The triangular base with canted corners has a centered engine turned rosette and raised stem and engine work on the underside. Each of the lovely stemmed ball feet is separately cast and through-pinned (and soldered) in place so that the top of the pin is visible in the base.

The stems and sockets have understated very early form and attach via handmade threads. Each stands 4 3/4" tall and the equilateral bases have 4 3/4" sides.
