Stunning Antique Brass/bronze Egyptian Revival Winged Sphinx Candle Holder

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a unusual Egyptian Revival winged Sphinx candle holder. The figurine has fine details and beautiful original patina. I thought it was made of bronze but I have been told it is not bronze, but made of brass. You be the judge, however, either way it has great patina and is a beautiful piece of art as well as being a candle holder.

The candle holder is in excellent condition with no noted damage or repairs. Candle cup sits slightly off center, no other noted flaws. Measure 6 1/2" high with the base measuring 7 1/2" long, 3 1/2 wide. Weight is 3.4 pounds.
