Pair of Antique Continental Gilt Brass Ornate 5 Light Candelabras with Finial. For our New Year Eve dinner, we are following a tradition set by Mother who firmly believed as transition from one year to the next, one must throw out the old & in with the new. And so, with always a bit of sadness, we quickly remove all evidence of Christmas red for a new theme. This year we are celebrating my Mothers love of France French tableware & crystal, French food, French wine & champagne, French gilt & gold & the color French blue. On our New Year table, we are using a French silk table cloth in a gorgeous French blue with pairs of candelabras on table & both side boards in gold and gilt brass.

This second pair of gilt brass candelabras is tall & thin, gilt brass, with pierced acanthus and floral details throughout. They sit on a raised base with 4 decorated feet. They are 5 light but have a lovely finial which we always use to make them even fancier &, therefore, convert them to 4 lite.

They are tall and slim, 20 inches in height by 8 inches wide. They can be used with 4 or 5 candles. We have had them cleaned & polished. They will arrive in excellent antique condition. They are so unusual & gorgeous!
