ELEGANT PAIR MID-19th C. AMERICAN CAST BRASS GIRANDOLES with CRYSTAL PRISMS

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for an beautiful pair of American cast gilt brass Girandoles (candlesticks) with crystal prisms, c. D ecorative cast brass base decorated with a large floral bouquet in urn. The body is in excellent condition with no damage.

Gadroon edges on drip cups. There is no-harm wax residue inside the candleholders that we have not tried to remove and will leave to the new owner. Beautiful natural patina on the gilt brass body which is mounted onto a creamy-white marble or alabaster base. The candelabras are adorned with crystal prisms (one missing) which have a couple of tiny nicks from normal use, however, these prisms can be easily replaced. Measure 14 3/4" high and fits a standard 1" candle. The marble base is 6" wide and 3 1/2" deep. Combined weight of pair is 8.13 pounds.
