Brass wall mounted, swivel, winged dual dragons / griffins and wall medallion

Unique brass wall mounted winged dragon twins / griffin couple (Griffins mate for life) with separate wall medallion. We have researched this item to ascertain date and country of origin but have not been able to find anything like this on the internet. This item was once fashioned from a wall mounted candle holder into an electric light wall sconce and fitted in front of the intricate brass wall medallion.

There is evidence of screw mounted candle or light bulb holder in front of each dragon's perch. The dual dragons (or Griffin couple) are joined together by brass scrolls that swivel 10 degrees when closed, 115 degrees when opened. The medallion measures 13" x 9". The dragons measure about 4" H x 7" when closed, 13.5 when open. Perfect item for handy hobbyist who could rework new magic and functions into this very uniquely crafted brass design.
