Antique Pair of 19th c. Brass Push Up Candlesticks 9 tall. This pair of 19th century candlesticks are made from solid brass and differ from the typical'beehive' style push up candlesticks in that the surfaces are all smooth and curved rather than faceted or stacked. They are in good, antique condition with unpolished patina. We do not polish brass as many of our customers prefer the aged patina that only comes with time. As you can see both of the candlesticks lack the flat button top that you would push on to raise the candle, however they both are still functional. The height is 9" and the base is 3 1/2" square. We usually use US Postal Service and UPS. Ziern-Hanon Galleries has been in operation since 1935.
