PAIR OF FRENCH BAROQUE CANDLESTICKS. A very decorative pair of Baroque style French candlesticks in gilt brass finish.

The base of each one has panels depicting a squirrel, snake & bird. In between the foliate stems is a decorative urn shape which allow for a natural and safe holding position. Each urn has three detailed insects. The sconces have a flower petal base with a flowing stem and flower design. These are a lovely decorative pair, nicely cast with interesting subject matter.
