Antique Brass and Marble Candelabras

Matching Pair/ Set of Antique Brass and Marble Candelabras. Both of the candelabras have removable snuffers. Each candelabra base sets in a winged cherub / puti pedestal. The bottom base is a white/ cream colored square marble slab with recessed edging.

It is adorned with a golden wreath and swag on two sides and has four gold feet. The top of the candelabras have roses with leaves as the candle holders as well as in the middle.

There is some pitting in the finish inside the rosette candle holders and the gold inside has a slightly shinier finish than outside. Looks a bit like modern gold leafing.

So I dont know if it was originally gold inside the candle holders or if someone added the gold inside the holders bc they didnt plan on having candles in it? Both pieces are very sturdy and secure. The leaves around one of the rosette candle holders can spin if you push them. They arent going to fall off, it just seems that a screw may need tightening to stop them from spinning. All others are tight and do not move. Very minor wear to the edges of the marble slab but no cracks or other damage. 17 tall, 8 diameter each. See our other listings for more rare Antiques.
