Vintage Petites Choses Brass Tree Candle Holder Dresden Animals Christmas

Wonderful vintage heavy brass tree of life, measuring 17 inches tall X 12 inches wide. The tree is beautifully detailed with leaves, a sun at the top, and a variety of animals: butterfly, turkey, deer/elk, buffalo, owl, bird, elephant, rooster, dog, fox, panther, bear, lion, rhino, ostrich.

The figures were modeled using antique Victorian Dresden ornament molds, so the tree has an attractive antique look. From what I've read, these pieces were made so that you could add greenery in the spaces if you wanted. Perfect piece for holiday decorating, and for display year round.
