Rare Vintage Funeral Ornate Candle holders with Case Holland Brass Works Inc

1941 Saint Mary's Equipment Manufactured by Holland Brass Works Inc. Wake / Funeral candle holders in the case as found in excellent condition. The candle holders have light sockets that need to be rewired. Optional update that was added in 1941.

They stand16 inches tall and at its widest 7 inches. Included are connectors for optional candle stands. The case is wood covered canvas leather handle and lined with sheep wool.

Marked: Saint Mary's Equipment Manufactured by Holland Brass Works Inc. Date 8/25/41 Style # 574. Before funeral parlors funerals held at home was common practice. They were usual held in the family parlor room, the local Church of their choice many times provided the setting. From casket stands to candle stands, crucifix, lectern, kneeling /prayer bar some cases back drops.

Today there seems to be a renaissance turning back to in home services do to the high cost of funerals. People are turning back to in home private setting of wakes and funerals. The candle holders here are original and date back to 1941. They were part of an estate that has been in the attic since 1950 until recently. They are rare as most of the items were considered out dated no longer needed and discarded.
