Pair of Vintage Solid Bronze or Brass Sconce Wall Light Candle Holders Medieval

Matched pair of solid and heavy vintage wall lights. We are pretty sure they are cast bronze, they have a great patina and the original colors can been seem in a few areas.

This set looks like Markel, but I can find no name on it. The old wire and socket has been removed, the threaded fitting for a new socket is in place.
