IVAR ALENIUS BJORK PAIR VINTAGE BRASS LILY CANDLE HOLDERS for SCAN CORPORATION, SWEDEN. These vintage Modernist'lily' candle holders, designed by Swedish Modernist designer Ivar Alenius Bjork for the Swedish firm'Scan Corporation,' are in splendid, untouched and nearly perfect condition.

They were produced in the early to mid 1950's. They may not be mint but they are very, very close to it. The surfaces and all edges of both brass candle stands are pristine and the brass is still highly reflective and glossy.

They have not been cleaned with brass cleaner. They are in original condition and the brass has its same, original brass patina. This was how they were acquired and the same magnificent condition they've always been in.

The edges on the expanding lily tops are pristine and there is not a nick or scratch on them. The bases are also very clean, with no'verte,' tarnishing episodes, dings, dents, flea-bites or nicks to any of the surfaces or edges. There is no evidence of wax on the insides.

They look to be unused. Designed by Ivar Alenius Björk for Scan Corporation and he also made identical pieces for'Ystad Metall' (Sweden) company. Impressed marks on each base,'Scan Corporation, Made in Sweden. If not perfect, they certainly almost are. ¾" Height x 9" Width x 3 ¼ diameter. Excellent/Pristine/Immaculate/Near Mint appear to have been'unused.
