Antique Early 18thC Brass Candlestick, Wrought Iron Light, Cast Iron Grease Lamp

We could have listed these three early examples of lighting separately, but instead we are listing them together and there is no reserve.

Up first is an 18. Century Brass Candlestick with a 4 ½ square footed base.

This early brass candlestick measures 6 ½ tall and the only problem is the two pieces are slightly loose. In the middle is a 15 tall twisted pointed shaft.

If you look closely you will see that the shaft twists to the right, stops, twists to the left, stops and twists to the right again. Constructed from heavy cast iron this early lamp measures 5" in diameter at the base the overall height is 8" to the top 2 ½ diameter cup. I assume that this is some form of grease lamp, but if you know differently drop me a message.
